Why we created AISA

As a company rooted in security consulting, REEKON has always been at the forefront of helping organizations navigate complex cybersecurity challenges. Over the years, the landscape has grown significantly more demanding, with an ever-expanding web of security standards, compliance requirements, and operational processes that organizations must master. Keeping pace with this complexity requires not only deep expertise but also the right tools to work efficiently and accurately at scale. With artificial intelligence now reaching a level of maturity that makes it genuinely useful for real-world professional tasks, REEKON recognized the opportunity to harness it responsibly. That is why we created AISA — an AI Security Assistant designed to automate and streamline our core consulting activities, always operating under the careful supervision of our experts.

How Reekon Utilizing AISA

AISA is embedded within REEKON's security analyst teams as a dedicated virtual assistant, currently operating in its pilot phase. By integrating AISA directly into our consulting workflows, our analysts are able to leverage AI-driven capabilities to enhance both the efficiency and quality of their work. AISA currently supports the following key activities: Navigating standards and requirements — providing structured and rapid access to relevant security frameworks and regulatory requirements, eliminating the need for time-intensive manual research. Cross-referencing standards — systematically identifying overlaps and interdependencies between multiple frameworks, streamlining the management of complex, multi-standard engagements. Product gap analysis — automating design reviews and identifying missing counter-measures, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reducing the risk of overlooked vulnerabilities. Process and certification documentation — supporting the creation, review and generation of compliance and certification documentation with greater speed and consistency. Through this integration, AISA serves as a force multiplier for our consulting teams — augmenting the expertise of our security analysts while maintaining rigorous human oversight at every stage of the engagement.

Architecture

Building AISA came with a clear set of principles that were non-negotiable for REEKON. From the outset, we made the deliberate choice to operate entirely on local infrastructure, avoiding any reliance on public APIs or cloud-based AI models — ensuring that sensitive consulting data never leaves our controlled environment. The intelligence behind AISA was built on a proprietary dataset, carefully curated from REEKON's own accumulated knowledge and field experience, with no inclusion of any partner or client proprietary information. This approach gives us full ownership and accountability over what AISA knows and how it behaves. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, AISA is designed to produce outputs that are intended to be interpreted, validated and acted upon by a qualified security engineer — not to replace that critical human judgment.

Who is AISA for

AISA is designed for security and engineering professionals who deal with the complexity of standards, compliance and certification on a daily basis. Whether you're building secure systems or navigating regulatory frameworks, AISA is built to work alongside you — not above you. The platform targets the following profiles: Solution developers and engineers — professionals designing and building products who need to identify security requirements early, automate design reviews, and ensure counter-measures are properly addressed from the ground up. Compliance engineers — specialists responsible for mapping products and processes against security standards and regulatory requirements, who benefit from AISA's ability to cross-reference frameworks and accelerate gap analysis. Certification engineers — professionals managing the end-to-end certification journey, who can leverage AISA to streamline documentation creation, review and generation, reducing time-to-certification without sacrificing rigour. Security auditors — practitioners conducting assessments and audits who need rapid, reliable access to standards, requirements and evidence of compliance — with outputs they can trust, validate and act upon. Across all these roles, AISA acts as a knowledgeable virtual assistant that handles the heavy lifting, so that experts can focus on what matters most: making the right security decisions.
